February, the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine
released a consensus report on the current state of the science on birth
settings. The report focuses on the areas of outcomes, quality,
access, and choice in the birth settings of hospital, birth center, and
home. In this webinar, Melissa Cheyney and Jill Alliman, both members
of the Birth Settings Committee, present a summary of this comprehensive
report and highlight some of the important points birth centers and
midwives can use to educate clients and policy makers.
